  • The meeting point for your experience is at Gastronomic Arts Barcelona (The GAB LAB).

  • Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, we’d hate for you to miss the market visit or any important instructions at the start of the class!

** Important: La Rambla is currently undergoing major renovations, which are causing significant traffic and pedestrian delays in the area. Please factor this into your travel time to avoid arriving late.

If you arrive late and the group has already left for the market, don’t worry you can meet us back at the meeting point approximately 40 minutes after the class begins. Alternatively, you can ring the doorbell located just above the mailbox, and someone will assist you when we return.

** Note: Some classes begin at the meeting point and continue to our second location following the market visit. If you're unsure, please ask someone from our team to confirm you're in the right place.

The easiest way to avoid all of this? Just plan to arrive a few minutes early! 😊

  • Please Note: La Boqueria Market Closures & Recommendations

La Boqueria Market is closed every Sunday and on bank holidays. We recommend checking the local holiday calendar in advance to be aware of any closure dates. Our classes will still operate on these dates and we plan ahead for fresh seafood and produce. In most cases an alternative or extended class activity is offered in its place.

Additionally, the market may operate on reduced hours during certain periods, particularly in December and April and it's not uncommon for some stalls to close earlier than expected due to fluctuating crowd levels or limited inventory.

Due to these factors, the market can be unpredictable at times, especially during peak tourism hours.

While we offer a private guided market tour as a stand alone experience, we also highly encourage guests to set aside time to explore the market on their own—it’s a must-see Barcelona landmark that deserves to be enjoyed at your own pace!
